David Sanzone

"I continued on with my studies at ECU because of the teachers and lecturers there. They have been the highlight in my experience there, not only just from the learning perspective but their invaluable inspiration. After the precious performance experience involved at ECU, I’d have to say many of the skills and knowledge I have gained have assisted me in my own teaching. Students are encouraged to develop such an understanding of what they are learning, so that they can pass it on effectively to future generations. From the performance side, I have had professional work as a soloist, chamber musician, orchestral musician, and have recorded for various projects. Getting experience throughout my studies definitely helped in being well prepared. The real-world experiences were not so daunting after that. I had the opportunity to play alongside excellent musicians and enjoy myself. I finished my course feeling much more confidant and secure. I love music and I never want to stop learning."
