This major is designed for students wishing to become secondary Health and Physical Education teachers. Students will also select a minor area of study from across a broad range of other study areas including Physical Education, Outdoor Education, Visual Arts, Music, Drama, English, Social Sciences, Home Economics, Design and Technology, Computing, Mathematics and Biological or Physical Sciences. The course is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge to teach Years 7-12 Physical Education as well as in a minor field of study. Graduates will be eligible to seek employment in both government and non-government secondary schools.
