Bachelor of International Hotel and Resort Management
Provides students with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills for a career in the hotel and resort sector.
This industry-based course is designed to provide students with the essential knowledge, competencies and professional attitudes required by management in contemporary hotel and resort organisations.
It provides an overview of the hotel and resort sector in the context of the broader tourism and hospitality industries, as well as focusing on the application of key aspects of marketing, e-business systems, service management, financial management, research methods, and business development.
Specialist units focus upon commercial food service management, food and beverage management, rooms division management, facility management, contemporary issues and professional industry experience.
Students have the opportunity to apply for a one semester internship placement with a leading hotel or resort business.
