Entry pathways
Dependent on your studies in Year 11 and 12, you may be able to enter as an:
- ATAR student (If you are planning to study 4 WACE courses at Stage 2 or above)
- Non-ATAR student
If you aren't eligible to enter one of our Bachelors courses straight off, you might be eligible to enter one of our University Preparation Courses and use that as a stepping stone into a Bachelors degree!
Before selecting your entry pathway
Before selecting the entry pathway most suitable for you, it is important that you ensure you meet the following:
- English Competency requirements
- Requirements of the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE)
- Indicative ATAR for the course you wish to study (ATAR students only)
- Any subject prerequisites relevant to the course for which you wish to apply
- Any folio of work, audition or interview requirements for the course
Important Dates
2013
- 25 February: Semester 1 starts
- ~Mid April: Applications to courses commencing Semester 2 2013 will open, check our mid-year entry page for more information
- 15 - 26 July: Orientation
- 22 July: Closing date for portfolio application documentation to be submitted
- 24 July: Applications for the University Preparation Course (Education Assistant) and University Preparation Course (Education Assistant: Special Needs) close
- 28 July: Joondalup Open Day
- 29 July: Semester 2 starts
- 11 August: Mount Lawley & WAAPA Open Day
