Bachelor of Sport Management
Provides students with specific, industry-focused knowledge, competencies and professional attitudes required by middle and senior levels of management in the sport industry.
The course provides an overview of the sport industry as well as focusing on the application of key aspects of management, marketing, communication, planning, economics and finance, community engagement, facility planning, research methods, legal aspects, venue & event management, project management and business planning.
Students undertake a range of practical industry placements, providing them with valuable workplace experiences and networking opportunities.
Students have the opportunity to add an additional specialisation to their studies, including marketing, management, public relations, mass communication, tourism management, human resource management, sports science and human performance.
Students are required to complete practicum placement(s) as part of this course.
