How to get the most out of uni life

Meet New People

The best way to start meeting people is through attending Orientation. This usually commences two weeks prior to the start of classes during semesters one and two. You can undertake a range of activities that will give you the skills to assist in adapting to uni life, as well as help you become familiar with your course, teaching staff and the support services available.

Finding Your Way

Don't be overwhelmed by the size of our campuses. Attending Orientation is an ideal way for you to learn how to navigate your way around campus, while our dedicated Student Central Offices are the starting point for all queries and campus maps.

Get Involved

There are a large variety of clubs, societies, sporting activities and support groups where you can meet people who share common interests.

Or, you can just take in the vibrant campus culture by relaxing at one of our caf├ęs, attending an exhibition or performance, or seeing a film at the Joondalup Pines during the Lotterywest Festival Films season.

Expand Your Horizons

Studying at ECU opens doors all over the world - consider studying overseas by taking part in a study abroad or exchange program.
