ECU Campuses

ECU is a multi-campus university, with three metropolitan campuses in Joondalup, Mount Lawley and Churchlands and a regional campus in Bunbury, a city approximately 200kms south of Perth.

ECU is committed to quality service, and recognises the unique transition process of all international students. The University offers a comprehensive service to assist international students in all aspects of accommodation before arrival, on arrival, or at any time during the course of studies.

All campuses offer a wide range of study and recreational facilities as well as a variety of services such as cafeterias and book-stores. A description of each of these campuses and the options for nearby accommodation is detailed below. Please click here for more information about Temporary Accommodation, On-campus Accommodation and Off-campus Accommodation.

Joondalup:

ECU's Joondalup campus is situated close to fast rail transport and Perth's major freeway. The purpose-built campus boasts state-of-the-art facilities including the Science and Health Building, a multi-million dollar recreation centre and an outdoor cinema during the summer months. On-campus residential accommodation is available in a student village, and private rental accommodation close to the campus. The campus forms part of a major education precinct, which includes West Coast TAFE and the Western Australian Police Academy.

Mount Lawley:

Only minutes away from Perth's CBD and serviced by convenient public transport, ECU's Mount Lawley campus is an excellent choice for study. Extensive teaching recourses, first-rate study facilities, a new gym and sports centre and on-campus residential accommodation is available. The Mount Lawley campus is also home to one of Australia most successful arts training institutions, the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). A range of private apartments and houses are also readily available in neighbouring suburbs to the university.

Churchlands:

ECU's Churchlands campus is conveniently located a few minutes from the Perth CBD. Public transport and proximity to the freeway and major traffic arteries make this campus very accessible. Please note that Churchlands Campus, is presently scheduled for closure in mid 2008. Students studying at Churchlands Campus will be required to complete their course at another metropolitan campus (Nursing courses at Joondalup Campus / Postgraduate Business courses at Mount Lawley Campus). However, in the meantime, its business as usual and student services and facilities will continue to meet demand.

South West Campus (Bunbury):

Located a two-hour drive south of Perth and in Western Australia's largest city, ECU's South West Campus (Bunbury) is the largest university campus outside the metropolitan area. The campus is part of an education precinct comprising of the South West Regional College of TAFE and the Bunbury Health Campus, which includes St John of God Hospital and South West Area Health Services. The campus has modern facilities, small class sizes, offers a comprehensive range of courses and has newly built on-campus residential accommodation. The new housing complex is set in the natural bushland of the campus with panoramic views into the City of Bunbury.
