Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) Scholarships
The Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) offers the Australian Development Scholarship (ADS) for international students to study at Australian universities and vocational education and training institutions. ADS scholarships enable international students from developing countries to gain knowledge and skills which will help the development of their home country when they return. Australian Partnership Scholarships (APS)
The Australian Partnership Scholarships is an initiative from the Australia Indonesia Partnership for Reconstruction and Development.  It is funded by the Australian Government for postgraduate study for Indonesian students in Australian universities.

Scholarships are available for full-time postgraduate studies at the Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma and Masters level.  Edith Cowan University (ECU) provides a wide range of courses relevant to the APS.  Information on these courses is available in ECU’s International Postgraduate Guide or online at http://www.ecu.edu.au.

The Council for Australian-Arab Relations (CAAR) Annual Scholarship Program

CAAR was established by the Australian Government in January 2003 to strengthen ties between Australia and Arab countries. The Council’s role is to promote greater understanding and acceptance of Australian and Arab cultures, values, beliefs and diversity. The focus is on commercial and people-to-people links and it also works to strengthen academic and educational ties.

CAAR is sponsoring a limited number of prestigious scholarships for postgraduate students from Arab League countries to study in Australia. CAAR Scholarships are offered to citizens of the Arab League countries who wish to undertake postgraduate study in Australia. The Arab League countries are: Algeria, Bahrain, Comoros, Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, the Palestinian Territories, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates and Yemen.

Endeavour Awards Programme
The Endeavour Awards Programme is an international scholarships programme offered by the Australian Government’s Department of Education, Science & Training.  The Endeavour Awards are grouped into three categories: Endeavour Study, Endeavour Research and Endeavour Professional.

Endeavour International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (EIPRS)
Each year ECU offers a very small number of scholarships for international students wishing to study on-campus and in full-time mode at either the Masters by Research or PhD by research level. Applicants for the Endeavour International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (IPRS) must have an outstanding academic background and proven research capabilities and must hold the equivalent of either an Australian Honours degree or an Australian Masters degree.
