ECU welcomes delegates from Bahria University

ECU welcomed delegates from Bahria University (BU), Pakistan, on Thursday, 21 October to discuss academic co-operation between the two universities and further strengthen ties with Pakistan.

The delegation met with senior ECU staff, Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kerry Cox; Acting Dean International, Associate Professor Maryam Omari; Associate Dean International from the Faculty of Computing, Health and Science, Associate Professor Jim Cross; Head of the School of Natural Sciences, Associate Professor Mark Lund; Senior Lecturer in School of Engineering, Dr Ganesh Kothapalli; Senior Lecturer in School of Computer and Security Science, Dr Justin Brown and Associate Dean International from the Faculty of Education and Arts, Associate Professor Helen Vella Bonavita.

The BU delegation, led by Rector, Vice Admiral (R) Mohammad Haroon, and accompanied by Director of Finance, Captain (R) Tashfeen Riaz and Associate Professor from the Management Science Department, Dr Zahid Mahmood, were welcomed to the University by Professor Kerry Cox and members of the executive team.

The delegation then discussed partnership opportunities with ECU’s Head of Schools, including the exchange of research fellows between universities, joint research projects and the sharing and exchange of information and resources.
