The group will be accompanied by Lecturer from the School of Exercise, Biomedical and Health Sciences, Dr Sophia Nimphius, who will teach two of the students’ four units, with the other two taught by lecturers from SNNU.
Students will participate in a Chinese language and culture unit during the semester, as well as have the opportunity to take part in cultural field trips and interact with local students.
Exercise Science Student, Paul Haylett is looking forward to the semester abroad.
“This program is a great opportunity to combine study and travel in a diverse and historic country such as China, and I am really excited to be involved.”
Senior Study Abroad Exchange Officer from ECU International, Miss Natalie Ilott, believes the SNNU program will provide students with a wonderful learning opportunity.
“We are really excited about the partnership, which will be mutually beneficial to students from both ECU and SNNU, providing students with new learning experiences and the chance to explore everything that China has to offer, and we look forward to further developing the partnership for years to come,” said Miss Ilott.
