In those cases where Blackboard has not yet been rendered operational, the Partnerships Officer will send all ECU unit materials to the Partner Institution at least four weeks before the commencement of the unit.
Partner teaching staff – Approval and access to ECU systems
Partner Teaching Staff must be approved by the relevant area of ECU before the teaching period commences. The Partnerships Officer will provide the following forms/guide to offshore tutors and lecturers at the Partner Institution:
- Application to Teach in an ECU Program
- Application for Computer System Account
- Request for Access ID International Partner Staff
- The completed forms must be returned to the Partnerships Officer together with the relevant certified documents at least six weeks prior to commencement of the unit. The Partnerships Officer will advise the Partner Institution of the outcome within ten working days.
Approval for teaching staff will be confirmed in writing by the Partnerships Officer on behalf of the Head of School or nominee. This approval may not be necessary for repeat contracts.
Immediately approval to teach has been obtained from the relevant Head of School, the computer account and access ID forms will be processed.
All newly approved teaching staff will be required to complete the "Guide for Offshore Tutors and Lecturers by the end of week two of the unit and notification of completion provided to the Partnerships Officer.
