Within the first two weeks of a student’s course, the Partner Institution should deliver a student orientation session. The presentation is likely to include:
- rights and responsibilities of students by referring students to the ECU Student Charter;
- re-enrolment process;
- academic progresses: assessment (continuous assessment and examinations) and appeals or grievance;
- study skills including: note taking, essay writing, research strategies, class participation, group work and referencing; and
- student communication.
