Whether you live on or off-campus you should budget for at least AU$425 per week. This allows for basic necessities only, it does not include luxuries, tuition fees, textbooks or the cost of running a car.

When calculating your weekly budget remember to include such items as:

Rent/board approximately AU$180 - $220/week
Meals and groceries approximately AU$120/week
Public transport approximately AU$25/week
Utilities (Electricity, Gas and Water) approximately AU$20/week
Spending money (for clothes,entertainment etc.) approximately AU$120/week
