Emergency numbers

In a life threatening emergency dial 000 for Fire, Police and Ambulance for 24-hour assistance. It's a free call. Just tell the operator what you need - fire, police or ambulance then wait to be connected. Remember to give your name and address!

Police assistance can be requested on 131 444 for non life threatening events.

When on campus, you can contact ECU's Security by phoning 6304 3333.

Emergency hospital treatment is available 24 hours a day at the casualty departments of public general hospitals without an appointment. Take your Health Insurance card with you in case you need to be admitted to hospital. If your concern is not life threatening, you will need to make an appointment with a General Practitioner (GP).
