Working while you study

All Student Visas issued from April 2008 include permission for you and your dependent family members to work in Australia.

Further information on working on a student visa can be obtained from the Department of Immigration and Citizenship website.

You must also obtain a Tax File Number (TFN) to be able to work in Australia (see section Taxation and Tax File Numbers)
