Location: Hagenberg and Steyr, Austria

Hagenberg is an idyllic town in the beautiful Mühlviertel, in the heart of Upper Austria. In the last decade, Hagenberg has established itself as an internationally recognized centre for computing and software development. Several high-tech companies and research centres have chosen to settle in the Software Park in Hagenberg. An outstanding mix of the most modern technology combined with the picturesque setting of the Hagenberg castle gives the town its unique flair. The University of Applied Sciences is housed in a futuristic building equipped with the most modern technology. More than 1300 students are currently attending the campus in Hagenberg to complete a degree in the fields of Information Technology and Media.

Steyr, which has a population of around 42,000, is situated between the alpine foothills and the Upper Austrian central region in the province of Upper Austria about 40 kilometres from the city of Linz. Steyr, a business and cultural centre of the region of Upper Austria, is also considered to be one of the best preserved medieval cities and is surrounded by a landscape, which even the famous Austrian composer Franz Schubert described as "beautiful beyond description". Currently there are approximately 900 students at Steyr Campus.
