Outstanding Faculty
Academic excellence is at the heart of Western, and that quality starts with our award-winning faculty. Every year, our professors are recognized both nationally and internationally for their teaching and research.
Excellent Facilities
Just as our professors are outstanding, so are our facilities. Western's libraries house more than six million books, journals, CD ROMs and other items, the fourth largest collection in Canada.
Computer labs are available in many buildings. We also have extensive athletic and cultural facilities that give you the chance to explore a wealth of extracurricular activities.
Program Choice
No matter where your interests lie, Western has a program that will set you in the right direction. Our 12 faculties offer more than 200 different undergraduate programs, in traditional fields, as well as some cutting-edge programs unique to Western. With so much choice, you're bound to find courses at Western to fit your goals.
A Beautiful and Safe Campus
Western boasts one of the safest and most beautiful university campuses in Canada. Footpaths are well-lit, and our volunteer student Foot Patrol (Canada's first and largest) provides trained co-ed teams to escort you to your destination from 6 pm to 1 am, seven days a week. Calls to the Foot Patrol are free from any campus phone. We have our own police force as well as a student emergency response team.
