Short programs

Short overseas programs permit you to study overseas for a short period and often occur during ECU’s winter or summer breaks. These are generally run by overseas institutions and may be based around a theme.

For information about obtaining credit for a short study program, available funding and ECU Student Travel Insurance please contact the Study Abroad & Exchange Office.

The following short programs are currently open for application:

Australian Institute for Mobility (AIM) Overseas

AIM Overseas assists Australian university students to study overseas. A wide variety of short programs are available in many disciplines and countries. The programs are conducted in English and usually last around 3-4 weeks during university holidays.

Leadership, Excellence, Accelerating Potential: The LEAP Program

The LEAP Foundation and ECU are offering three scholarships to outstanding students to attend The Young Adult LEAP Program run by the LEAP Foundation at the University of California Los Angeles from July 28 - August 3, 2013.

Ljubljana Summer School - Slovenia

The Ljubljana Summer School is a 3-week program at the University of Ljubljana, open to undergraduate and graduate business students from 8 - 26 July 2013.

Students will attend courses, interact with managers during company visits, discover the local culture and socialise with people from all around the world during the sunniest and warmest month in Slovenia.

This is a great opportunity to add to your CV and receive credit for an ECU unit (speak to your Course Coordinator for approval).

The application deadline is 8 June 2013.
