Short programs
Short overseas programs permit you to study overseas for a short period and often occur during ECU’s winter or summer breaks. These are generally run by overseas institutions and may be based around a theme.

AIM Overseas - short programs
AIM Overseas assists Australian university students to study overseas. A wide variety of short programs are available in many disciplines and countries. The programs are conducted in English and usually last around 3-4 weeks during university holidays. You may be able to receive credit for these programs and funding may be available.

Business, Information and Technology School (BiTS) Summer Program 2012
Iserlohn, Germany July 23 - August 10, 2012
Want to combine studying, international experience and a chance to discover Germany? Apply now for one of the summer school programs at BiTS, a small, innovative university set on a beautiful landscape in Iserlohn, Germany.
This year BiTS is offering three-week courses in Sustainable Mobility and Tourism Meets Marketing. Students will be involved in studying the theoretical background, working on case studies and developing student projects and will achieve 10 ECTS (European credit transfer system) credits upon successful completion of all units.
Both programs include excursions to the famous car city of Wolfsburg and the tourism metropolis of Hamburg.

3rd University Scholars Leadership Symposium
Bali, Indonesia August 1 - 7, 2012
ECU students between the ages of 18-30 are invited to apply for the 3rd annual University Scholars Leadership Symposium, which will be held in Bali, Indonesia in August 2012.
The symposium provides an opportunity for future leaders to increase their understanding of the state of poverty in the world and their own roles in becoming a positive influence.
Students will get practical involvement in humanitarian work, help create a public awareness campaign and participate in focus group sessions. Four hundred students are expected to attend this year.
