ECU Student Exchange Information Sessions

Find out how you can travel and study at the same time!

As an ECU student you have the opportunity to study for one or two semesters at an overseas exchange partner and get credit towards your ECU degree. We have around 90 exchange partners in 35 countries, so there are plenty of options out there.

Interest-free government loans are available to undergraduate Australian citizens to help make your exchange dream a reality. There are also various other subsidies that you may be eligible for.

Travel the globe, immerse yourself in a new culture, strengthen your ECU degree, expand your network of friends, challenge yourself and broaden your understanding of the world – all through ECU’s student exchange program!

Details for 2012 information sessions will be posted shortly.

For more information about student exchange contact the ECU Study Abroad/Exchange Office.

Where in the world will you go?

ECU Buddy Program

Make new friends and learn about a new culture!

Learn how you can become an ECU buddy through the ECU Buddy Program.

This program pairs up current ECU students with new incoming Study Abroad and Exchange students who come to study at ECU for one or two semesters.

The aim of the Buddy Program is to help the new Study Abroad and Exchange students adjust more quickly to ECU, their new living environment and the Australian culture. It also gives them more opportunities of mixing with current students.

On the flipside it’s a great opportunity for you to get to know students from another part of the world learn about different cultures and make new friends. We don’t expect the role of the buddy to be very time-consuming or demanding. All buddies are trained and supported in their role.

If you would like to become a buddy or are simply interested in finding out more please contact the ECU Study Abroad/Exchange Office
