ECU Buddy Program
Make new friends and learn about a new culture!
Learn how you can become an ECU buddy through the ECU Buddy Program.
This program pairs up current ECU students with new incoming Study Abroad and Exchange students who come to study at ECU for one or two semesters.
The aim of the Buddy Program is to help the new Study Abroad and Exchange students adjust more quickly to ECU, to their new living environment and to the Australian culture. It also gives them more opportunities of mixing with current students.
In addition, it’s a great opportunity for you to get to know students from another part of the world learn about different cultures and make new friends. We don’t expect the role of the buddy to be very time-consuming or demanding. All buddies are trained and supported in their role.
If you would like to become a buddy or are simply interested in finding out more please contact the ECU Study Abroad/Exchange Office.
