Note:

Undergraduate Business Students:
With immediate effect, a 3-year trial has been approved for an IELTS score for students entering UNDERGRADUATE courses within the Faculty of Business and Law as follows:
      a) IELTS: overall band score of 6.0 with no sub-band below 5.5; or
      b) TOEFL: 550 (paper-based) or 213 (computerised) (If TOEFL permitted by Visa requirements)

Postgraduate Business Students:
A 3-year trial has been approved for an IELTS score of overall band score of 6.0 no band less than 5.5 for entry into POSTGRADUATE coursework courses in the Faculty of Business and Law with the exception of the 12-unit MPA which will still require overall band of 6.5 no band less than 6.
Students accepted on the basis of the IELTS 6.0 score will be required to undertake a Faculty approved ESL unit during their first semester of study. This unit will replace an elective so the normal course duration will not be affected. In the first semester of study students will be limited to undertaking 3 units (1 of which will be the ESL unit).
Students applying for the 12-unit MPA who meet academic entry requirements, but who cannot meet the IELTS 6.5 (no band less than 6), but who do meet the newer lower requirement, will be required to undertake the 16-unit program.
