Academic Development

Academic Development is part of Centre for Learning and Teaching (CLT) and has the primary purpose of servicing the pedagogically related professional development needs of ECU academic staff.

The range of professional development activities offered through Academic Development is determined by the teaching and learning priorities of the University, by the expressed needs of Associate Deans Teaching and Learning and Heads of School and through consultation with relevant groups and individuals.

All current teaching and learning related academic professional development activities provided by Academic Development, can be viewed and registered for via the Services web page, ORIAN or the Course Program.

Non academic staff are welcome to attend Academic Development course offerings, however, they will require approval from their immediate line manager. For further professional development offerings for non academic / general staff please also refer to the PD@ECU home page.
