The Academic Excellence Team

ClassAcademic Excellence Team members are expert teachers with long experience in learner orientated environments. They specialise in embedding policy initiatives into curriculum and learning designs. Other skills of team members include skills in project managing a range of services including: flexibly-delivered academic courses and programmes; staff development programs and off-campus education including on-line delivery.

Most of our work starts with the identification, design, and evaluation of innovative learning and teaching programs to meet operational requirements aligned with ECU’s Strategic and Functional Plans. We also:

  • Promote, advocate and support the implementation of Teaching and Learning Policy
  • Undertake research, including preparing grant applications, and/or pilot projects to enhance the quality of teaching and learning outcomes;
  • Work closely with otherCentre teams, academic staff and members of the offices of the Associate Deans, Teaching and Learning;
  • Maintain professional competence and knowledge and apply this expertise in the provision of advice, problem resolution and professional development to staff; and
  • Maintain vigorous individual research agendas.
