Service Charges

Charges vary depending on your relationship with ECU:

The average total cost per transaction is estimated at $35.00, and can be as high as $80.00. Patrons are asked to be aware of this when determining the number of requests submitted
ECU Staff

Edith Cowan University staff are fully subsidised by the library for all document delivery services. This includes delivery of photocopies to the requester.
ECU Higher Degree Students
  • Inter-campus Loans:
    No charge is levied for loan of items within Edith Cowan University, i.e. Inter-campus borrowing.
  • Intercampus Copies:
    Students are required to pay,  using the CopyPlus system, $3.30 (includes GST) per document supplied.
  • Requests for material held by other Libraries:
    Currently this service is fully subsidised by ECU library and supplied free of charge via ECU VDX

 
ECU External Students

Students who are eligible for remote External Library Services are not charged for document delivery, but may have to pay return postage on borrowed items .

ECU Undergraduate Students

Material held by ECU Libraries:
No charge is levied for inter-campus (within ECU) loans. Students are required to pay $3.30 (includes GST) per journal article or book chapter supplied from within ECU libraries.
