DRUG - Drug Database: Covers the social, economic, political, psychological and legal aspects of prevention and treatment of alcohol, tobacco and other drug use and misuse with a strong emphasis on evidence-based practice and is produced the National Resource Centre of the Alcohol and other Drugs Council of Australia (ADCA).
Meditext Australian database, coverage includes all aspects of health and medicine,
with an emphasis on clinical medicine and paraprofessional fields.
MEDLINE International database indexing biomedical literature. This database is useful for searching
for information relating to addiction, biomedical research, human physiology, health policies,
health promotion, nutrition, occupational health and epidemiological studies.

ProQuest 5000 International International multidisciplinary database indexing a selection of journals in all subject disciplines.
This database is useful for a broad cross-disciplinary search, rather than an in-depth search in a subject.
It's advisable to use the option to limit the search to 'Scholarly journals, including peer-reviewed' , if you are searching
for research articles.
PsycINFO: International database indexing journals in psychology and related disciplines.
MetaQuest allows searching across several databases simultaneously. Login to MetaQuest and then select the subject list for Health Sciences, Addiction Studies.
