Library One Search is a search engine that helps you discover information on any topic ECU Library's collections. You can search across the Library's catalogue and online journal collection, to find information from books, journal articles, newspapers and more. From your search you can link directly to the full text of articles and e-books or to the catalogue for finding books and other resources on the shelves. Access Library One Search from the Library Homepage using your ADS login at the prompt.

How to use Library One Search: Type your keywords into the single search box. Refine your search using the options on the left, such as content type, subject or date. For a more specific search, by author or journal title for example, use the Advanced Search option.

The Library has access to a number of e-books from the EBL e-book collection.
To search the Catalogue for all online publications limit a keyword search to "Online"
using the drop down menu.

Search Library catalogue (subject and statistics) e.g. sports and Australia and statistics.

Search the catalogue using the Advanced Search keyword search option. Select Film/Video in the Material Type limit box provided.
This will limit a keyword search to videos or dvds.

Google Scholar: If searching Google Scholar, set preferences to ECU Library to link to full text held at ECU.

It is automatic if on campus. Off campus users need to change your Google preferences to Edith Cowan University Library to set up a library link in Google Scholar, which lets ECU staff and students link directly to full-text journal articles and books held at ECU.

Click on Scholar Preferences
