You can search across the Library's catalogue and online journal collection, to find information from books, journal articles, newspapers and more. From your search you can link directly to the full text of articles and e-books or to the catalogue for finding books and other resources on the shelves. Access Library One Search from the Library Homepage using your ADS login at the prompt.
How to use Library One Search: Type your keywords into the single search box. Refine your search using the options on the left, such as content type, subject or date. For a more specific search, by author or journal title for example, use the Advanced Search option.

CINAHL Plus with Full Text: International database indexing nursing and allied health literature. This database is also the main database for Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and related areas such as Rehabilitation and Ergonomics.

Cochrane Library: Evidence based medicine database. Clinical trials are reviewed and analyzed.

Family & Society Plus (Australian): covers research, policy and practice issues about, or of relevance to, Australian families and is produced by the Australian Institute of Family Studies.
Family Studies Abstracts (Ebsco database). Covers essential areas related to family studies, including marriage, divorce, family therapy and other areas of key relevance to the discipline. Can be searched simultaneously with other Ebsco databases, Cinahl, Medline, PsycInfo, Eric etc., by clicking on "Choose Databases" in Ebsco.
ERIC: International index of education related journals and research reports, ERIC Documents (ED), from the Educational Resources Education Center (ERIC). Use the limit option if you wish to select journals only. i.e. Journals (EJ). If you wish you can search more than one database simultaneously. Click on "choose databases" to search ERIC with one or more of the health databases in the EBSCO suite of databases.
Health Collection: Australian full text database covering Australasian health information in a range of publications, including journal articles, reports and conference proceedings.
ISI Web of Science This database includes: Science citation index, Social Sciences citation index,
and Arts & Humanities citation index.
MEDLINE International database indexing biomedical literature. This database is useful for searching
for information relating to addiction, biomedical research, diseases, human physiology, health policies,
health promotion, nutrition, occupational health, occupational therapy and epidemiological studies.

OTseeker: A database that contains abstracts of systematic reviews and randomised controlled trials
ProQuest 5000 International International multidisciplinary database indexing a selection of journals
in all subject disciplines. It is useful for a broad cross-disciplinary search, rather than in-depth in a subject.
PsycINFO: International database indexing journals in psychology and related disciplines.

Note: Evidence-based journal articles can be found by searching journal indexing databases such as Cinahl and Medline. Use the "Evidence-Based-Practice" limit option in Cinahl and subject "Evidence-Based-Medicine" or limit option "EMB Reviews" in Medline.
