Subject Searching - Subheadings The CINAHL and Medline databases allow you to use subheadings during subject searching. Selecting a subheading may help you find a term which is closer to the exact search you want performed. Click on the actual subject heading [10] and this will display the list of subject headings and subheadings.

Choose 1 or more subheadings by clicking in the box next to the relevant subheading [11].

Click on ADD to enter it into the search [12], and then click on Search [13].
