Photocopying and Printing

To Copy and print items in the Library as a ECU student or staff member you need a University ID Card (UIC).
You can also use a special CopyPlus card or any card with a magnetic strip (e.g. Medicare card, credit card etc.)

Using a UIC for Photocopying and Printing

A University ID card works like a bank account. The first time you use a new card the system requires you to enter your student/staff ID number and a 4 digit PIN number. (Follow the menu prompts).  If you are not a student at any university, then a driver's licence or phone number is recommended.

Each photocopier and printer has a Smartcard keypad. Place your UIC on the Smartcard logo and enter your PIN to copy.

When funds on your card run low, you can deposit more credit and use again.
If card is lost, the student ID number helps identify your card account so the funds are not lost.

Prices are per page.  (Using a UIC card and including GST)
