Copy and print items in the Library as a ECU student or staff member you need a University ID Card (UIC). Using a UIC for Photocopying and Printing A University ID card works like a bank account. The first time you use a new card the system requires you to enter your student/staff ID number and a 4 digit PIN number. (Follow the menu prompts). If you are not a student at any university, then a driver's licence or phone number is recommended. Each photocopier
and printer has a Smartcard keypad. Place your UIC on the Smartcard logo and enter
your PIN to copy. Prices are per page. (Using a UIC card and including GST)
Note: At the start of first semester ECU offers 50 free printing credits to current students. Staff, for your departmental credits please contact your relevant Faculty Admin Officer.
