Student ID cards

You should organise your Student ID Card as soon as you can. Your Student ID Card identifies you as a current ECU student and also acts as your Library, Multimedia and Print/Photocopy Card. You can choose to combine your ID Card with a TransPerth SmartRider card, to allow you to travel on Public Transport at a concessional rate.

To get your Student ID Card you will need to complete the Transperth declaration (if you wish to combine your ID Card with a Transperth SmartRider) and then visit the IT Service counter counter on your campus to have your photo taken and collect your card. External students can apply for your Card online.

Access cards

Access cards provide entry to after-hours access and access to specially equipped areas of the University. You can get your Access Card from Student Central.

Your Access Card and Student ID Card must be shown to support staff or Security officers if requested. Failure to do so will result in you being asked to leave the area.
