Orientation Events

Orientation events will run from Wednesday 13 February to Saturday 23 February 2013. You should attend as many Orientation activities as you can, to give yourself an important head-start for your studies. Orientation events are open for registration from 9.00 am on Monday, 7 January 2013.

Look through the activities below and book your place (where bookings are required), by clicking on the event and following the steps. To view your bookings or cancel a booking click on Login at the Events and Activities page.

Collect your ECU Student USB from Information Points or Student Central during the Orientation Period.

Welcome Day is the busiest day of the Orientation period. Course inductions run on Welcome Day so try to arrive at the university early to ensure you allow time to walk from public transport or park your car, and find the venue for your Course Induction.

If you missed your Orientation, it is strongly advised that you access the Online Orientation page and visit Student Central to make sure you have all the information you need prior to commencing your course. International students who arrive after Orientation commences are required to visit Student Central to check enrolment status.

Orientation Fair BOOKINGS NOT REQUIRED. Loads of stalls and giveaways! 
Sundowner BOOKINGS NOT REQUIRED. Have fun and socialise with other new students! 
VC’s Welcome BOOKINGS NOT REQUIRED. Your official welcome to ECU from a member of the University senior executive and the ECU Student Guild President. 
Welcome Day BOOKINGS NOT REQUIRED. Welcome Day is your official welcome to ECU and is marked by a Welcome Speech from a member of the University senior executive. 
My International Day BOOKINGS REQUIRED. This is a compulsory event for international students. Familiarise yourself with your student visa obligations and learn about your new home country.
