Now is a great time think about how things are going and make sure your studies are headed down the path you had planned. ECU has a range of events and resources available which will help you take back control and move forward with confidence.

Support Services

At ECU, the health, well-being and overall success of all our students is our highest priority. The University provides the following free confidential services to support you throughout your studies. These services are available for all ECU students, on all campuses.

Study Services

Library Services
The ECU Library offers more than just books. As well as an extensive catalogue they have multimedia equipment, referencing training and much more.

Student Learning in a Digital Environment (SLIDE)

SLIDE will introduce you to Technology-Enhanced Learning (TEL) at ECU. You will become familiar with; What Digital Learning is; How to work in a Digital Learning Environment (DLE); What support is available when you are learning within the Digital Learning Environment (DLE).

Study Support
ECU has staff dedicated to providing study and academic support to students in each school. They provide a range of resources and services to help you excel in your studies.

Study Opportunities
Have you considered undertaking part of your studies overseas? Pursuing Postgraduate or Honours studies? Or maybe study at another institution? There are many options available to ECU students.

Studiosity is a free online tutoring service offered to students in your first two semesters of study. This service allows you to connect live with external tutors (non-ECU) to get advice on general topics such as writing, research and assignments.

The Student Guild is your student representative body. It is run by students and aims to make sure you get the most out of your university experience. As well as offering second hand books and social events they also have independent services which provide information, advocacy, support and referral.
