Step 4 - Checklist

Well done!

By now you should have:

  • Responded to your offer, by either accepting, rejecting or deferring (Step 1)
  • Activated your accounts (ECU Login ID) (Step 2)
  • Read your course and enrolment information, and accessed our Student Information Management Online System (SIMO) and enrolled in your units and activities (Step 3)
If you were unable to logon to our Student Information Management Online System (SIMO) this may be because your access has not been set up yet. This can take up to 1/2 an hour so we recommend that you access SIMO later through the Student Portal link on our main ECU homepage.

What are your next steps?

Attend orientation. Various free orientation events and workshops will be run at the beginning of the semester. Attend as many orientation activities as you can to give yourself an important head-start for your studies. Many activities require bookings so make sure you check them out before the orientation period. You can register for orientation sessions by visiting our Orientation web pages.

Consider joining our online communities at Facebook or Twitter to connect with other students and ECU. By liking our Current Students Facebook page or following @ECU on Twitter, you can receive the latest updates about your university and studies, such as events, enrolment, special offers and notifications.
