Students from ECU's Interior and Spatial Design program are putting their best work on show at IKEA in Innaloo as part of an exciting ongoing collaboration with the store.

Earlier this year, third-year students undertook the challenge of designing a single chair inspired by nature. Twenty students have participated in the project, each submitting a design concept in scale model form.

The designs were presented to IKEA and Amy Cumming's design, the Air Chair was chosen for fabrication as a life size prototype. Amy's chair, and window display projects created by second-year students will be on display at IKEA until Monday, 24 November.
