The Vario Wellness Clinic is recognised as one of the state's top providers of the Living Longer Living Stronger program
ECU Exercise Physiologist, Kyle Smith, has been recognised for his work in improving the quality of life for seniors through the Living Longer Living Stronger program.
The program is specially designed to meet the needs of people aged over 50 years and is delivered through over 70 endorsed facilities across the state.
Kyle works with over 200 seniors each week at the Vario Wellness Clinic, helping improve their function-ability and general health through specially tailored strength training programs. His award was presented at the annual Have-a-Go Day, held at Burswood Park during Seniors Week each year.
ECU's Roberta Galvão, a fellow instructor at the Vario Wellness Clinic, was also recognised at the ceremony and the Vario Wellness Clinic was recognised as one of the states top providers of the program.
