The Faculty of Computing, Health and Science has appointed Professor Cobie Rudd to the new position of Associate Dean (Health).
Announced by Professor Tony Watson, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International) and Executive Dean Faculty Computing, Health and Sciences, Professor Rudd will assist the Executive Dean, Heads of health Schools and Associate Deans in growing the Faculty in the health area.
Apart from helping to grow the health course profile both domestically and internationally, Professor Rudd will also be assisting with expanding our health research activities and managing the overall Faculty perspective on health placements and interactions with the Health Department and various hospitals.
"Cobie brings a wide range of relevant high level experiences to the new role and the Faculty Executive are looking forward to working with her as we continue to grow" said Professor Tony Watson.
"She has highly relevant experience as the Head of School of Nursing, Midwifery and Postgraduate Medicine, she has been a health policy advisor at the State and National levels including the General Practice Strategy Review."
