The Human Resources Service Centre has been successful in winning the Ryan & Gullo Award for Innovation in Workforce Planning presented last week by the Queensland University of Technology as part of the Universities HR Benchmarking Program.
The winning proposal, prepared by Chris Gunson and Nicole Stewart, has received funding and will see the development of a dedicated web-based HR benchmarking resource in 2010.
The website will be accessible for business-unit managers, academic leaders, ECU planners and policy makers and HR practitioners, with direct access to a range of sector-specific human resource statistics and data.
This information will enable benchmarking of staff profiles including remuneration profiles to better support informed decisions regarding planning, attraction and retention of staff by the University.
Congratulations to Chris and Nicole on their success.
