Staff enjoying an OT massage at the Joondalup Health and Wellness Expo
Do you suffer from headaches, back pain, joint pain or any muscular tension? A new service for ECU staff and students being trialled at the Joondalup campus may be able to help you.
West Coast Occupational Therapy Services will be providing 15 to 20 minute appointments starting next Thursday, 5 November from 9.00am – 2.00pm on a fortnightly basis at ECU Sports.
Treatment is individualised and includes a postural assessment and retraining, neuromuscular techniques, trigger point therapy, deep tissue intervention, strength and flexibility training.
Tamaryn Harris, from West Coast OT Services says that Occupational Therapists enable people to overcome any limitations they experience in their daily activities.
“The aim is to improve the function of the soft tissues of the body, whether it is an injury or purely tension,” she says.
To make an appointment, contact West Coast Occupational Therapy on 9301 0052 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
