ECU lecturer honoured during national Occupational Therapy week

Associate Professor Jeannine Millsteed has been recognised by Occupational Therapy Australia (WA) with the 2009 Pioneer Award.
This Award recognises Jeannine’s many years of service to the occupational therapy profession, especially in the areas of education and disability policy development.
She has held many positions at a local, national and international level including advisor to the World Health Organisation, was a founding member of SARRAH (Services for Australian Rural and Remote Allied Health), and an Australian delegate to the World Federation of Occupational Therapists.
Since joining ECU, Jeannine has been responsible for the development of the Occupational Therapy program. She has been working hard to ensure the quality of occupational therapy in WA is maintained and recognised through excellence in program delivery.
