ECU Singing Group at Joondalup
Friday, 14 August 2009
You might sing soprano or just like to watch the Sopranos. Perhaps you sing bass, or are asked to sing in the basement.
No matter whether people love to hear you sing, or you just love to sing, an ECU Joondalup singing group might be the place for you to grow your voice:
- Singing in a group is great social exercise;
- It helps to take away your worries (unless youre singing the blues); and
- Can improve your general vocal strength and control
The Joondalup singing group is currently meeting fortnightly in Room 8A.404, from 12:30pm to 1:20pm.
First timers are free with regular attendees then requested to contribute approx $4-5 per fortnight to assist with the defray of instruction costs. Please come along if you like to sing or have always wanted to. The group is pitched for experienced singers and new starters. Songs which we have jumped into so far include:
- The chorus of Hope (”One Day”)
- Alleluia Gracias Deo
- Freedom is Coming
- Lean on Me
The next meeting of the group is scheduled for Monday, 24 August 2009. For registration of interest/attendance or if you would like further info please contact John Blahusiak, Policy and Project Officer, Governance Services at email@example.com.
