Global Corporate Challenge (GCC) Director, Shane Bilsborough is visiting ECU to help boost momentum of ECU teams participating in the GCC - the round-the-world pedometer challenge.
On Monday, 31 August Shane will give a presentation at both Joondalup and Mount Lawley campuses on What happens to our bodies when we go from walking 1,500 steps to 10,000 a day.
This health promotion talk is open to everyone from ECU not just those taking part in the GCC.
Presentations will be held on Monday, 31 August at:
Joondalup - room 1.2107 from 10.45am to 11.15am
Mount Lawley - room 15.123 from 12.00pm to 12.30pm
Numbers are limited, please register through the staff kiosk - follow the links to staff development, safety and wellness.
As an added incentive, Wellness Coordinator Fiona Peters is offering three prizes to encourage staff to up their steps. A free massage will be awarded to the male and female individuals with the biggest improvement over two weeks starting today.
The most motivated individual (nominated by teammates and colleagues) will also receive a free massage - send an email to Fiona Peters if you know someone who is doing well!
