ECU staff and students now have access to battery and mobile phone recycling bins on campus.

Bins are located at Joondalup and Mount Lawley to make it easy for staff and students to access to this great new service. You can place both batteries and mobile phones in the same bin and Battery World will ensure that these products are recycled.

Bins can be found at:

Joondalup

  • Building 31 - Library
  • Building 18 – Student Central
  • Building 1- Facilities Management Office

Mount Lawley

  • Building 8 - Library
  • Building 13 - Main Staff Room
  • Building 3 - Facilities Management Office

ECU South West staff should keep an eye out, as similar bins will be appearing on the Bunbury Campus soon.

Batteries are considered a hazardous waste containing heavy metals and can have huge environmental impacts such as soil and water pollution if not disposed of correctly.

Please RECYCLE so these products can be REUSED!
