ECU and Mrs Mac's supporting students from regional WA

This year 10 ECU students have been awarded a Mrs Mac’s Rural Scholarship to assist with the cost of moving away from home to study at ECU.

The scholarship program was established by Mrs Mac’s in 2004 to assist ECU students from rural Western Australia who are required to live away from home to complete their studies.

Valued at $1,000, the scholarships assist with the expenses associated with relocating, as well as study materials and textbooks.

Scholarships were awarded to:

  • Rory Campbell - Bachelor of Science (Exercise and Sports Science)
  • Kaitlyn Maynard - Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Studies)
  • Levi Caddy - Bachelor of Creative Industries
  • Lisa Hannaford - Bachelor of Creative Industries
  • Sarah Gilleland - Bachelor of Science (Conservation and Wildlife Biology)
  • Ebony Norman - Bachelor of Education (Primary)
  • Marlee Hanmer - Bachelor of Science (Biomedical Science)
  • Hayley Mincham - Bachelor of Communications
  • Erica Scheiblehner - Bachelor of Science (Environmental Management)

Mr Richard Howell, Director of Mrs Mac’s presented students with their scholarships at a ceremony held on Monday, 14 September at ECU Joondalup.
