To help celebrate WAAPA’s 30th anniversary, WAAPA is presenting a theatrical showcase to highlight the best of their performance program.

Filled with singing, dancing, drama and opera, as well as scenes from the hugely popular mid-year musical Anything Goes, the showcase is a tribute to the talented WAAPA students and will provide a fantastic opportunity to witness stars in the making before they hit the professional stage.

WAAPA Director, Professor Julie Warn, believes the theatrical showcase will provide audiences with a great insight into the Academy’s programs.

"Many people believe WAAPA is just about acting, jazz or dance, but this array of performances will allow people to see first-hand the great breadth of our activities.”

WAAPA students study in a variety of areas, including acting, dance, arts management, backstage production, costume design and lighting, with famous WAAPA graduates including actors Hugh Jackman and Frances O’Connor.

For more information on studying at WAAPA, visit the WAAPA website.
