Vice-Chancellor’s Student Awards are now open

Nominations for the 2010 Vice-Chancellor’s Student Awards are now open.

The awards encourage, recognise and reward students for outstanding contribution in the areas of university life and engagement with external communities.

ECU students and staff, and representative bodies external to the University, may nominate any student, or student team for one or both of the award categories below (self nomination will not be accepted);

1. ECU Vice-Chancellor’s Student Award for Contribution to University Life

This award will be presented to a student, or student team, which has made an outstanding contribution to student life at Edith Cowan University. For more information and nomination forms, visit the scholarships webpage on the student intranet.

2. ECU Vice-Chancellor's Student Award for Engagement

This award will be presented to a student, or student team, who has demonstrated outstanding engagement with external communities and has contributed to the achievement of Edith Cowan University’s strategic priorities through engagement activities. For more information and nomination forms, visit the scholarships webpage on the student intranet.

Both awards are valued at $5,000 each (shared equally between members where a team award is granted).

Nominations close on Monday, 9 August with the winners to be announced on Friday, 17 September.
