ECU Community Writing Class presents Writing on the Wall
Friday, 15 October 2010
ECU Community Writing Class invites staff, students and community members to attend the launch of Writing on the Wall, a collaborative presentation that showcases the best work of ECU’s writing students.
The event, held on the Mount Lawley Campus, will see students present their work to a captivated audience, and will also include the presentation of the 2010 ECU Talus Awards, which recognise student excellence in the areas of short story, poetry and script.
The winner of each category receives $100 in prize money, with prizes also awarded for highly commended students.
Senior Lecturer from the School of Communication and Arts, Dr Ffion Murphy, believes the event is a wonderful opportunity for students to share their work with the wider community.
“There are many talented students in the writing program at ECU. This event is a great opportunity for them to present and celebrate their work and to receive well deserved recognition for their efforts throughout the year.”
