ECU was pleased to welcome fifteen students from the HELP International College of Technology (HICT), Malaysia to the Joondalup and Mount Lawley Campuses on Tuesday, 30 November 2010 as part of their nine-day tour of Perth.

The students, who were accompanied by their lecturer Ms Karen Lee, began the day with an interactive seminar entitled How Accounting will Impact our Future, by Senior Lecturer in the School of Accounting, Finance and Economics (SAFE), Mr Atul Chandra, which discussed contemporary accounting views and how to explore accounting through another perspective.

Visiting students then enjoyed lunch and a tour of both campuses, with highlights including a tour of the Mount Lawley media department and meeting lecturers from SAFE.

The day concluded with an afternoon tea provided by SAFE.

The students thoroughly enjoyed the visit, which gave them a chance to explore the campuses first hand and get an insight into university life.
