Postgraduate Scholarship applications now open

Scholarships provide students with much needed support during their studies, with applications now open for a number of different scholarships offered through the ECU Scholarships Office. Scholarships are offered in a range of different disciplines and are open to students from across the University.

There are currently four catagories of Postgraduate Research Scholarships on offer, with applications closing on Tuesday, 31 May:

Edith Cowan University Postgraduate Research Scholarships - $25,000 per annum

These scholarships are designed to support postgraduate students of exceptional research promise to study full-time at ECU in a Doctoral degree (PhD) or Master by Research. The scholarships are offered on the basis of academic merit and research performance and are offered to both international and domestic students. Find out more

Dr Susan Holland Scholarship - $3,000 per annum

This scholarship is designed to provide financial support to enable a doctoral student within the School of Education to make substantial progress towards her/his research program. The scholarship is offered on the basis of academic merit, teaching experience and a commitment to undertake research directed to enhancing the quality of teaching. Find out more

Australian Postgraduate Awards - $25,000 per annum

These awards are designed to support postgraduate students of exceptional research promise to study full-time at ECU in a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Research Master degree. The scholarships are offered on the basis of academic merit and research performance. Find out more

Commercialisation Training Scheme (CTS) - $12,500 for six months

Australian students who have completed 12 months full-time (or part-time equivalent) of a Master by Research or Doctoral degree at ECU and are currently enrolled, can apply for the opportunity to undertake a Graduate Certificate in Research Commercialisation. The CTS supports recipients as they complete their research degree and earn a graduate certificate relevant to a research project. Find out more
