Scholarships provide students with much needed support during their studies, with applications now open for a number of different scholarships offered through the ECU Scholarships Office. Scholarships are offered in a range of different disciplines and are open to students from across the University.
There are currently four categories of Postgraduate Research Scholarships on offer, with applications closing on Tuesday, 31 May:
These scholarships are designed to support postgraduate students of exceptional research promise to study full-time at ECU in a Doctoral degree (PhD) or Master by Research. The scholarships are offered on the basis of academic merit and research performance and are offered to both international and domestic students.
This scholarship is designed to provide financial support to enable a doctoral student within the School of Education to make substantial progress towards her/his research program. The scholarship is offered on the basis of academic merit, teaching experience and a commitment to undertake research directed to enhancing the quality of teaching.
These awards are designed to support postgraduate students of exceptional research promise to study full-time at ECU in a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Research Master degree. The scholarships are offered on the basis of academic merit and research performance.
Australian students who have completed 12 months full-time (or part-time equivalent) of a Master by Research or Doctoral degree at ECU and are currently enrolled, can apply for the opportunity to undertake a Graduate Certificate in Research Commercialisation. The CTS supports recipients as they complete their research degree and earn a graduate certificate relevant to a research project.
