New students are encouraged to attend the fun, free activities at Joondalup and Mount Lawley Campuses as part of ECU’s 2011 Semester 2 Orientation program, which runs from Friday, 22 July to Saturday 30 July.
Orientation activities are the best way to learn about campus life, your course of study and the range of services available to you, all of which assist with your transition into studies and give you a head start at ECU.
South West students have a condensed Orientation period which runs between 27 and 28 July.
Online resources, academic and computer skills specific to the University environment are presented at the Unistart 1 & 2 workshops.
Learn about ECU’s Student Support Services and what to expect from a typical uni semester in our Life @ ECU sessions.
Or take a library tour and a workshop to acquaint you with essential skills and services offered during your studies.
All new students are required to attend their Course Induction sessions, which provide an introduction to your course and Faculty before the Semester begins.
Interested students can also take a tour of the ECU Sports and Fitness Centre, attend the O’Fair during Welcome Day and meet fellow students at the O’Party, hosted by the ECU Student Guild.
New arriving international students are also encouraged to go to My International Day at their respective campus.
Current and past students as well as staff agree that Orientation is a great way to become familiar with the campus, learn about your course and meet fellow students.
Students must register to attend most events, with registrations open on Monday, 11 July at 9 am.
For more information about events, activities and bookings please visit the Orientation website.
We look forward to seeing you on campus as you embark on you studies this semester.
