Securing Digital Australia Workshop

ECU together with the Kokoda Foundation are pleased to present a workshop entitled Securing Digital Australia: Whole of Nation Approach to the Cyber Challenge at the Mount Lawley Campus.

The workshop will examine how government, industry and the public are each involved in defending against cyber threats in an increasingly networked world.

Keynote speakers include:

  • AVM John Blackburn AO, Former Deputy Chief of Air Force; and Director, Kokoda Foundation;
  • Mr David Campbell, Director CERT Australia – Attorney General’s Department Canberra;
  • Professor Craig Valli, Head of School, School of Computer and Security Science; and Director – secau Security Research Centre, Edith Cowan University; and
  • Mr Brett Biddington, Director Kokoda Foundation; and Chair Space Industry Association of Australia

The workshop is a priority for young professionals who work in the Australian national security community and also for students who aspire to work in either this community or in the information security area more generally.

Anyone interested in questions of cyber security and cyber resilience, especially how they relate to national security, are welcome to attend.
