On Saturday, 15 October 2011, the Graduate Research School held a BBQ lunch for approximately 130 higher degree by research and honours students and their families down by the lake at Joondalup Campus.
The entertainment was laser skirmish, which was enjoyed by both the young and young at heart. There was plenty of food, drink and conversation with about 20 different nationalities getting together to enjoy the sunshine and good company.
Graduate Research School Student Support Officer, Heather Williams, thanked everyone for their support on the day.
“Thank you to all those who came along and a special thank you to the students that volunteered to BBQ all that food. It was much appreciated.”
